Kim Dotcom Backs Bitcoin Cash: A Bold Move in the Crypto World

Kim Dotcom, the infamous founder of MegaUpload, has thrown his support behind Bitcoin Cash (BCH). In a surprising twist, he has rejected XRP and Bitcoin SV (BSV) to join the BCH community.

Dotcom, now residing in New Zealand, announced his decision with enthusiasm. He aims to make BCH the “leading electronic cash solution in the world.” His plan? To boost BCH adoption among consumers and merchants alike.

When asked why he chose BCH over other cryptocurrencies, Dotcom’s response was clear: “Because it works.” He praised BCH for its low fees, fast transactions, ease of use, and strong security. According to him, Bitcoin Cash checked all the boxes needed for his upcoming innovation.

Dotcom didn’t shy away from explaining his rejection of other cryptos. Regarding XRP, he cited concerns about the SEC’s legal case against Ripple, calling BCH “the safer bet.” As for Bitcoin SV, his reason was blunt: “Didn’t like the vibe.”

Despite his focus on crypto, Dotcom’s legal troubles continue to shadow him. The U.S. seeks his extradition over charges related to MegaUpload, accused of enabling massive copyright infringement. New Zealand’s Supreme Court has ruled in favor of his extradition, but Dotcom still has the right to appeal. For now, his legal fate hangs in the balance.

Kim Dotcom’s endorsement of Bitcoin Cash has stirred the crypto community. Whether his influence will boost BCH’s adoption remains to be seen. But one thing is clear—Dotcom is betting big on Bitcoin Cash.
